Breeding!
Listed here are the rules you should follow, if you want a healthy and successful litter of cubs! BEWARE: this below is fifty-three lines and 615 words of important information!
ONE First, only females reproduce by actually giving birth… (like that need to be said) Second, only malexfemale couples are allowed on LM so that they may reproduce. (again, needed to be said) But realize that giving birth puts tremendous strain on a female lion, and this means that they may only reproduce once every other year in real life. Meaning, you may only give birth to cubs once a year on LM with the same female. (Since magical lions only need one year of recuperation after birth not two ;3 not to mention our cubs grow up faster.)
TWO You must, absolutely, positively use the form located here. You must make a new thread in that board and post the form, completely filled out. If you do not fill out the form at all- you will never have cubs! Sorry, but we will tell you to delete your posts if they involve birthing and you have not yet posted and been accepted! If you leave areas blank- you may not get what you want. You want six cubs and you leave that spot blank- you’ll probably end up with two cubs.
THREE Administrators make up the cubs! We will try and follow your guidelines as best as possible- but we will only do that if we can. Usually we will decide what the site needs before we decide if we can negotiate with your request. If we have a lot of cubs and you want six, we won’t make it two but maybe we’ll make it four. Get it? Do not argue with the administrators or all of your cubs will be still born and your female will never be able to have cubs again!
FOUR Deformities can be made. Only cubs born to LM will have these deformities so do not try and create a character with these things (even if your character isn’t a cub because by the way, you aren’t allowed to make a bio for a cub- yes you can make a juvenile but not a cub. So long as your character is old enough to be considered juvenile (two years) you can make them (adult is three years) We don’t need a lot of motherless cubs.). The administrators will decide these and you have no say. WE PLAY MOTHER NATURE xP… parents don’t have a say in their children’s disabilities because if they did, I’m sure they would make them healthy.
FIVE Once an administrator has accepted your form and posted the adoption thread in the cub adoption board, you may post your lioness giving birth. You do not have to! And remember, no graphic breeding, this also includes graphic birthing. Your cubs will be given one week where they will be suckled by their mother (during this time your cubs will be auditioned out… if one of your cubs has not been adopted by the end of the week an administrator will tell you how it dies- usually of a disease or malnutrition.)
SIX NOT INCLUDING KINGS AND QUEENS! The role-players of the cubs may each have one cub if they wish. They also get first picks! If you posted first saying “I want Mozzie!” And the father comes later and says “I want Mozzie” guess who gets Mozzie? The father does.
SEVEN I don’t think this needs to be said… but here goes nothing… Females will not abandon their cubs unless there is something terribly wrong with their brains, or the cub. If you want to have a mini-plot where the cub dies, you must ask the rper of that cub and the two of you can sort it out together.
