Deep in the torrid desert, a pride of weathered, tough lions lives under the gentle guidance of Cheke. They lead the birthing mothers to the only few patches of water that inhabit the territory. The lions live peacefully, but because of the heat from the desert, hallucinations are quite common within the pride. They live around one of the sections that houses water, and only strays from it to help pregnant mothers pass or to hunt for each other;;
