Hi! Welcome to Leo ... whatever who cares about all that stuff right?
Any who, you've got two lovely admins, Gray and Cookieh (she may seem like she bites, but only on days that end in 'ay'). We're literate to advanced literate, meaning you have to have a good post count and grammar and spelling and... well yeah!

Yep, I'm absolutely tired of it. Someone was spamming my site the other day and I deleted all of the posts, but what they were saying was WRONG and CRUEL. If I ever hear racist jokes on this site I WILL GUT YOU LIKE A FISH AND SERVE YOU TO PIGS! I'm seriously not joking- I have the means to hunt you down and destroy you and don't think I wont!
To all of you wonderful members out there... if you see any jokes (they are certainly not funny!) that are offensive please PM either myself or Gray... IMMEDIATELY!... sick bunch of dumb asses! I'm mad! Pardon the french.

Whoot! Some new smileys are under construction. I know how horrible the one's in the chat box are, but these are for the forum... chat box smilies will be cute little squares! o3o.
I have put up a few of them ... hmmm... tell me what you think so far! I'd love to get feed-back. hum hum hum... there was something else I was going to say....
OH YEAH! Remember: only PRIDE lions can make sub-prides... and there are A LOT of outsiders, lets try and keep that number low please? I know their really cool uberly vicious monsters, but nice purryful lions are amazing to play too.. -jab jab-
Besides, look at Kira, he's an evil pride lion.... and if you have an evil pride lion, you can make evil sub-prides... just remember, outsiders are not allowed to join or make sub-prides or prides! Whoooooooo. -dies- Thanks for the listening abilities of the all mighty LM member.

Short sweet and to the point no? First off, check out some of our new affiliates! Whewt, we're off to a great start ;3 I urge you all to advertise your butts off! Pwese and sanku ;3
Second, Zelyra has created her own territory! She is now the proud lady of Good Crossing in Kinjo Mountains. If you have a queen almost ready to birth and she has to cross the graceful valley, she would find herself most happy in this wonderful oasis at the end of a treacherous mountain face. Your cubs, and your queen will thank you.

So, if you didn't know, LM is finally open! -does a silly dance.-
Before you go crazy and start making up, what I'm sure is to be, your totally amazing characters, lemme' direct you to a few areas first! =D (I feel like one of those airline ladies who points to parts of the plane that are so close yer' like DUUHHH when she points them out and you wanna throw a shoe at her xD, 'cept I dun want nuthin' thrown at me xD).
There are quick links below (points four boxes down). Check these out as they may be very helpful! -hint hint-
Also, there are a few contests out, a scavenger hunt for one, and an advertising contest with a sweet prize for another! Whewt whoot! There are also land claims for people to start making... Fortunately, cookie has one of those spiffy pop up biography codes... Unfortunately, she won't be able to put it up for a little while. Feel free to create your lion, but if I put the code in, you won't be able to modify it without adding everything back in again so SAVE SAVE SAVE, god word is good for that!
That is all. (deep serious voices don't work for cookie).
Come here to "play god" and create the character that's been bubbling in your brain! Your brain child needs to be seen and role-played! So click new thread and you can start it up!
Its sad when you can no longer keep all of your characters, you go inactive, or you can't keep every cub your lioness has. But coming here will give those characters an oppertunity to keep on living!
A vast rift valley on Leo Magus, Carpe Diem is where the wildebeest herds come to graze every migration season. There they head to the Wildebeest spot, ironically named for being in the royal lands, to have their babies. When the wildebeest aren’t there, buffalo are, so there always is food available, grass lines the walls of the valley, but there are no trees, which makes it hard to hunt. There is a steep downpour of land that rolls into the valley, and that is usually where lions enter, because the sides of the canyon are too steep to climb or jump off of. Carpe Diem leads into the Basin. It tends to be a two week travel from the royal lands.
A gigantic crater in the middle of the earth, said to have been some sort of tectonic plate shifting or meteor crater. Whatever it was, it leaves a bowl the size of mount Everest in the middle of the island. There isn’t any grass to be seen, and the ground is cracked with dried mud and dirt. The only animals that live here are mice and snakes, not enough for lions to feed on.
It’s simply a desert, a vast, lifeless desert that stretches almost 20 miles. Now, that’s not a lot, but for someone trekking to have cubs, that’s a damn lot of space to cover. There is no water, except in a few oasis’s dotted around the edges. It’s very, VERY hard, and many lions die.
Kinjo Mountains are the most north part of the headlands. They are snowy and almost always cold. The only reason to venture up here would be to meet the Outsiders, since no pride lion would ever dare go here. It’s too cold to hunt and you could freeze to death if you stayed too long. But it’s the only way to get to the Birthing Fields in the Lowlands.
It’s hard to travel from the Headlands to the Baselands, and that is why the river of light is so useful. The current only flows north, so you can’t cross downland. Lions have known how to make rafts for centuries, and the River of Light is the shortest way to get back from Carpe Diem, one of the best hunting spots in Leo Magus, without going through Gold Sand. It’s also convenient for both drinking and religious purposes, as cubs are brought here to be baptized by the Sun God.
Why it isn’t in the royal lands, no one can say. Birthing fields, more professionally known as Field of Life, is where cubs are born every year. There is always activity going on, since lions have their cubs at different times than others. Though one litter is the rule, a few lions dare to have more cubs here. No one ever finds out of course, so lionesses have been breaking the rules forever. If the king did, however, they’d be exiled and doomed to live as an Outsider. Birthing Fields is full of daisies and butterflies, and it is where cubs are weaned before being able to eat meat and live on their own.
Named after one of the most famous evil lion gods, Leomus Sea is a gigantic gulf that cuts harshly into the mainland. The water is too choppy to sale, and it is always dark for the clouds shield the sun. Waves can get as tall as ten feet, and tsunami’s are common. Wind is everywhere and it can sometimes blow your right into the water. There is no beach, here, for the water crashes right up onto the precipices. It is the most dangerous place in all of Leo Magus.
A gigantic pass in the middle of Leomus Sea. It’s thin and almost impossible to cross if you’re with a large group. It’s a straight fall down to the Leomus sea if you were to slip and fall. The path is so dangerous that it reminds Lions of the dragon’s back of spikes, hence the name Dragonback.
Herd land is a great place to feed on, but it’s not as plentiful as Carpe Diem. There is only food here once a year, and that’s during the migration of the wildebeest from Carpe Diem to Wildebeest Spot. They have to cross the River of Light, which only flows in one direction. When they get to the Wildebeest spot, lions attack them a few months after, just before they are ready to leave. Wildebeest can be so stupid sometimes. Every other time, Lions rely on antelope or go to Carpe Diem to bring food back.
Kyber savannah, or savannah for short, is the main place of hunting and training for both young lions and older lions. Cubs learn their hunting skills here from their mother, since antelope is plentiful. Or older lions can come hunt Kangaroo, Antelope, or small wild dogs. It’s a dry area, but there is no competition for food.
The jungle is the only place where lions can find really good food like bananas or other fruits. Not only does this help with a balanced diet, but fruit is also good for medication. The trees are thick and dense, and it’s always very, very dark. Chimpanzee and Gorilla are the two hunting prizes here.
Valley of the Kings is the main place where lions of the royal prides live. It’s the mainland for Leo Magus, and the only place you can find the king or queen. Most lions live here, and outsiders inhabit other areas of Leo Magus. There are plenty of trees, and a wide river flowing down the center of the valley. It is peaceful with no fighting, and promises a happy life for lions.
